March 15th: We Will Still be Meeting
Many churches are closing the doors due to the concern over the COVID-19 virus. However, since Christian Praise Center is under 250 people, we will still be having service at 10:30.
Despite this, please take precautions to keep you and your church family safe. The CDC recommends the following precautions:
Wash your hands frequently, whenever you sneeze or cough.
When you do sneeze or cough, do so using a tissue or the inside of your elbow.
Keep at lest 6 feet of distance between you and another person.
Avoid shaking hands
Avoid touching your own face.
Masks are not necessary unless you are ill. However, if you are feeling ill, please stay home. We still love you and hope you feel better soon.
More information on precautions please visit the CDC site: https://is.gd/IDm6B7.
Please note that while it is wise to take these precautions, we as followers of Jesus are not called to give into fear. Christ is King over all, including the COVID-19 virus.
1 John 4:17-19 New English Translation (NET Bible)
18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.[d] The[e] one who fears punishment has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he loved us first.
